How can we help?

Answers to the questions people ask most. If yours isn't here, write to us and we'll get back to you.

Does Yagi come with channels?

No. Yagi is a player: it doesn't provide, include or host any channels, movies or shows. It plays the Xtream or M3U playlist you get from a provider you're entitled to use.

How do I add my playlist?

When you first open Yagi, choose how your provider gave you your playlist:

  • Xtream: enter the server address, username and password from your provider.
  • M3U: paste the playlist's address (it usually ends in .m3u or .m3u8).

Yagi loads the channels, movies, shows and TV guide, and from then on refreshes the playlist by itself once a day.

A channel won't play or keeps stopping.

Yagi reconnects on its own when a stream stalls, and shows you what it's doing. If a channel never starts:

  • Check it plays elsewhere: most channel problems come from the provider's server.
  • Many accounts allow only one or two streams at once. Stop playback on your other devices and try again.
How do I sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac?

There's nothing to set up. Sign in to the same iCloud account on each device and Yagi keeps your playlists, favorites, playlist layout, reminders, settings and where you stopped watching in step. A movie started on one device continues on the next. If something doesn't appear, check that iCloud is on for Yagi in your device's iCloud settings.

How do reminders work?

Tap the bell beside a programme in the TV guide. Yagi lets you know shortly before it starts, with a tap that takes you straight to the channel. Reminders sync to your other devices. If no notification arrives, check that notifications are allowed for Yagi in your device's settings.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account you subscribed with and open Yagi: it finds your subscription by itself. If it doesn't, choose Restore Purchases on the subscription screen.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. In Yagi, open the cogwheel and choose Manage Subscription, or go to your App Store subscriptions. For a refund, use Apple's refund request.

Can I watch offline?

Yes, for movies and episodes your provider offers to download. Download them while you're online and find them under Available Offline. Live TV needs a connection.

What does Yagi need to run?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later, and a Mac with macOS 26 or later. That includes the 27 releases and whatever comes after them.

What does Yagi know about me?

Nothing. Yagi collects no data; everything stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account. The privacy policy has the details.
